Bennett Partners, an architectural, interior design and planning firm with a West Studio based in Fort Worth, is expanding into Dallas with the opening of the company’s East Studio.

“We are thrilled to bring the services of our gifted team to Dallas,” said Michael Bennett, Principal and CEO of Bennett Partners. “As the economies of Dallas and Fort Worth have continued to intertwine, we saw an opportunity for a presence in Dallas to serve our clients there and to give us access to Dallas’ deep pool of design talent.”

Bennett says the East Studio will further the firm’s goal of making a difference in the community through architecture and design. “The East Studio will be home to our Dallas-based team members and will serve as a convenient collaboration space for our partners and clients.”

Registered Architect Adam Jones will lead the East Studio team members as they move ahead with new projects throughout the metroplex. Jones has focused much of his career on revitalizing urban city centers, including those in Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, Chicago, and Oklahoma. He served as principal-in-charge for the conversion of the historic Old Dallas Central Library and The Statler hotel into a new, mixed-use complex, among his many other award-winning adaptive rehabilitation projects.

“We could not have a better team in place for the opening of our East Studio,” Jones said. “We are lucky to be in a market where architecture and interior design talent is abundant. We look forward to watching the firm flourish as we launch exciting new projects in Dallas and surrounding cities. It is an honor to add to the accomplished reputation Michael has built over the years.”

With a highly diverse portfolio, community is at the core of Bennett Partners, which specializes in projects with a human-centered approach. The firm’s architectural achievements range from downtown Fort Worth’s Frost Tower and the Kimpton Harper Hotel to adaptive reuse projects such as Hotel Dryce and the Fort Worth Stockyards Horse and Mule Barns. The firm has also recently completed corporate interiors projects for Apex Capital, Jetta Operating Company, and Tarrant County College’s administrative offices. Most recently, the firm unveiled its design of Keith House, a modern interpretation of a traditional meeting house that will be home to a newly commissioned installation by the internationally known artist James Turrell. Other current projects include The Residences of Highland Oaks at Central and Monticello, the expansion of the Fort Worth Convention Center, buildings at Texas A&M’s new Fort Worth Campus, and the renovations of the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History Omni Theater.

Bennett Partners’ projects have won broad professional acclaim in the company’s 67 years in business, including recognition from the Texas Society of Architects and the American Institute of Architects’ Fort Worth Chapter.
