The Fort Worth Botanic Garden, the oldest botanic garden in Texas, is a lush 109-acre home to over 2,500 species of native and exotic plants that flourish in its 21 specialty gardens. Located just south of Fort Worth’s Cultural District, the Botanic Garden is a destination for both local and international visitors.

Recently, the Botanic Garden has set a goal of becoming more pedestrian friendly and creating a better circulation network within the garden. The master plan also respects the many changes and improvements occurring in the Will Rogers area and the Montgomery Street Corridor, with several opportunities for synergy, connections and shared facilities. The master planning process works closely with the Botanical Research Institute of Texas (BRIT) to integrate the design of the new BRIT site into the fabric and flow of the garden.
