The IDEA Public Schools, a fast-growing network of tuition-free pre-K-12 public chart schools, reached out to BBP to design their new administrative office space located in Fort Worth.

The project consisted of 7,087 rentable square feet on the second floor of 601 S. Main street mixed-use building, that was also designed by BBP and built earlier that year.

Working on a tight budget, brightly colored geometrical shapes were painted throughout the space to bring visual interest to walls and showcase IDEA’s branding colors. The client’s logo served as an inspiration for decorative light fixtures, translated into creative concept via exposed Edison style LED bulbs being used to accent the space. To take advantage of the amount of natural daylight all the offices were pulled away from exterior glazing and located near building core to create bright and lively work environment.
