Located west of downtown Fort Worth, this 2,900sf condo combined two adjacent units for breathtaking views overlooking The Modern and the Kimball Art Museum in the heart of the Cultural District. Programmatic improvements included a new Bedroom, Bath, Office, Great Room, and Wet Bar. The Great Room and Wet Bar positioned at the opposite end of the primary living space creates a defined entertaining room and showcase for art, as well as a quiet and comfortable retreat. In addition to the interior improvements, the exterior balconies which were once compartmentalized to each adjoining room, were reconfigured to allow the owner to flow unimpeded across the entire southern balcony. One challenge for the project involved limited access to the occupied unit below the condo, but the team came up with solutions to mitigate mechanical and plumbing routing to the benefit of the design.
